What is SAP?
SAP is an “Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)” software.
What is database?
In Simple terms, Database means storage of all data information collected in specific tabluar format.
In SAP, how data comes in? / how data collected?
1. End User data input / data entry
2. EDI (Electronic Data Interface)
3. Data Migration
How SAP and Database work together?
SAP has its own background database. All data collected are stored in SAP database know as ‘Data Tables’.
Can we edit this database?
Yes we can.
How we can edit?
We can edit by 2 ways
1. End-user can reverse old entry or record and create new one. Please note it doesn’t delete any data. It creates correction entries.
2. Background data changes by way of programming.
